GARDEN ROOMS
Garden rooms can provide extra living space and can be constructed in a relatively short period of time.
Most garden rooms do not require planning permission, subject to complying with certain rules, as they are classed as outbuildings. Likewise, Building Regulations approval is not needed if:
- it’s not attached to your house
- the floor area is less than 15 m2
- it doesn’t include sleep accommodation
