LUIGI ROCCO

Luigi is the Director of HH Structures Limited. He is a well-rounded professional Structural Engineer, specialising in Residential Structural Engineering. With 20+ years’ experience working for an engineering consultancy, contractor, and client organisation, he can apply his knowledge, skills, and experience on all sides of the industry, allowing him to deliver the best solutions.
Luigi attains a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) 1st Class degree with Honours in Civil and Structural Engineering and a Master of Engineering (MEng) with Distinction. He is also a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). He is committed to developing others in their professional development through his registration as an ICE Supervising Civil Engineer, allowing him to provide professional leadership for the development of Engineers.
Luigi has a robust technical background. He worked for the National Technical Authority for Network Rail. He spent 8 years developing national technical standards to support the design and management of structures, which were applied across the industry. These standards have formed the required safety controls necessary to ensure structures remain reliable. Prior to this, he spent 12 years as a Designer within a large multi-disciplinary consultancy, leading up to a Technical Team Leader.
Luigi also played a significant role in the construction of the new Centre Parcs in Woburn, where he undertook the role of Structures Sub-Agent. He was responsible for the management of all infrastructure structures construction to achieve the required project delivery to the customers’ objectives, whilst maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.
Luigi can work alongside your architects and builders, providing detailed calculations to ensure structural members are safe, durable, and economical for use. He will ensure all his work complies with the Building Regulations.
